Chrishell이 오펜하임 그룹 첫날에 쓴 표현으로, 새로운 직장에 처음 들어갔을 때 겁이 나는 상황에 대해 이야기하고 있다.

그렇다면, 두려움을 표현할 때 가장 자주 쓰는 단어인 scared와는 뜻이 어떻게 다를까?

- The teenagers thought the horror movie was very scary especially when the murderer jumped out and killed his unsuspecting victims.
- The collapse of the tunnel was a very scary situation as there were many civilians in the tunnel trying to escape.
- The boy hid behind the bedroom door and scared his sister by jumping out from his hiding place when she came into the room.
정리하자면, Chrishell과 같이 새로운 직장에 들어가는 경우에는 be intimidated 라는 표현을 쓴다는 것을 알 수 있다. 학교 첫날, 새로운 직장 또는 유학 전 날 등 인생의 큰 변화가 일어날 때 나의 떨리지만 무서운 감정을 표현할 때 쓰면 좋을 것 같다.
